I was wondering if anyone would like to play a little game. It's real simple, you reply the post above yours with a true or false and then maybe a little detail.
You then make a statement about the next poster to follow you.
It's a lot of fun, I've done it elsewhere and it's always been one of the most popular areas of the board.
I'll start off:
The next poster is going to Premiere on Saturday.

True! I'll be there at 9:00 am sharp!
The next poster's spouse thinks they have a 1,000 less Hallmark ornaments than they really do.

False. My husband knows how many Hallmark ornaments we have and also knows that pretty soon we'll need another tree to help showcase them all.
The next poster had such a difficult time selecting their HOC ornaments, they paid extra to get all three.

False. I restrained myself! My Hallmark store usually sells the displays after Christmas so I get the third one pretty cheap, if I want it.
The next poster has been busy checking their points on Hallmark.com to make sure Hallmark got their Premiere points right.

True, but my bonus points for buying 20 ornaments at Premiere are not posted yet. The next poster collects more than 15 different Hallmark series and has all of these series ornaments without any year missing.

False! I'm sure I have more than 15 series. A bunch are complete but a lot are not (Frosty!)
The next poster keeps a Hallmark decorated tree up all year and it is just about time for them to dust it.

True and False - I keep some trees put together , but they have bags over them to protect them from dust and are not on display. The next poster will be buying the special ceramic ball ornament on August 25th.

True! I search through many auctions to find those amazing ornaments missing from my collection. I really try not to purchase ornaments from years before I started collecting, it's my own personal rule to keep me from buying TOO many ornaments..
The next poster travels to multiple Hallmarks in one day during special events just to see what's going on (like premiere for example).

False. I do visit a couple Hallmark stores at Premiere, Debut and Holiday Open House but buy ornaments at both locations. It's nice visiting with the different Hallmark collectors and employees too. The next poster is attending a Hallmark artists signing in Sept. 2008.

True. In fact, one of my local clubs (of which I am the Club Secretary) is HOSTING Tammy Haddix and Orville Wilson (and their Hallmark "Handler", Juli McGuire), for their Artist Signing at the end of the month! We'll be having a special dinner with the artists, for club members and store employees the night before, so we're really looking forward to it!
The next poster will go to an artist signing and buy the event piece, as well as the event pin.

The next poster will be attending the 2009 event in KC.

Ture, I will be going to the event in 2009. I have my room at the Westin reserved for the Friday night and will be spending Thursday night at my home in Shawnee, a suburb of Kansas City on the Kansas side of town.
The next poster has their list ready of ornaments to purchase when they go on sale for $1/$3/$5.

False, if we can get the A$ in parity $1/$3 and $5 would be great, still if I can access the ones I want at reasonable prices I am satisfied, keep finding gems searching through the Yulelog and HOH website. The next poster has some 1978 Hallmark ornaments
