We're excited at the announcement of the

2009 Keepsake Ornament Club Event in Kansas City!

YOU won't want to miss this one...so mark your calendar:
Friday and Saturday, August 7-8,2009

Location: The Westin - Crown Center Hotel, Kansas City
(yes, right next to Hallmarks Corporate Headquarters!)

Even though it's 13 months away, I've made my hotel reservations, and understand that Hallmark Collectors are filling the hotel fast. Call 1-800-937-8461 for room reservations. You must mention Keepsake Ornament Club to get the special $118. a night rate (otherwise the rate is $299.!).

Registration for the Event will open in early 2009, and you must be a Keepsake Ornament Club Member to register. So, do join the Club if you are not already a member (see information on that under the Keepsake Ornament Club thread).

I've attended Every KOC Event since the mid-90's and HIGHLY RECOMMEND ATTENDING. It's a great way to meet other collectors, meet the Hallmark Artists, learn more about Hallmark Collecting, and HAVE A GREAT TIME! This event should be EXTRA SPECIAL, since there will be JUST ONE event and it's being held in "Hallmark's back yard".

I attended my first KOC event in Las Vegas last year. While I was disappointed that there were KOC events scheduled this year other than the in-store Artist signings (which I will be happily attending in my area), I was thrilled to see that an event for 2009 is being planned. I really don't want to miss this event and just made my reservation for The Westin. The rate was still $118.00 a night but I expect it won't last long. I am so looking forward to this event!
