Question About Repairing a Hallmark Ornament

I have a Star Trek ornament I bought some time ago. It's Locutus of Borg (see picture). The wire strands (actually more like long thin plates than wires) that are used to connect to the part that goes on the Christmas light strand broke. Can the entire assembly be replaced (see second picture) and what specifically should I buy and where?
I had the same issue with another STar Trek ornament, The City on the Edge of Forever (last picture).
