I just bought one of the new Star Trek Enterprise (2010) ornaments. Mine was broken in half and the engines terribly out of alignment. I took it back to the store and checked on several others. All were warped out of alignment. The ornament is simply wrapped in tissue- this may be part of the problem. Looking on Amazon.com several others bring up the same issues. At 36.00 this ornament should be perfect.
I also have a minor issue with the sculpting of the KING KONG ornament. It's the first movie ornament I have been disappointed with. Kong's ok- but the base looks absolutely NOTHING like the Empire State Building top from the film. This detail should not have been overlooked- it's a major part of the design and every photo of Kong on the building shows exactly how it should have looked. I've been collecting the ornaments since 1988 and this is the first year I've had issues with any of them.
