Does anyone know when Hallmark started putting in the Keepsake Cards in the ornament boxes. I have some older ornaments that don't have cards so I am not sure if they should have a card.

At hookedonornaments.com we are asked this question often, so we have it listed on the site under "Frequently Asked Questions"... Q9. Not all of my ornaments that I ordered have Collector Cards? A9. Hallmark added Collector Cards to ornament boxes from 2002-2005, ornaments produced prior to 2002 and after 2005 do not have Collector Cards. Additionally, some of the 2002-2005 ornaments were issued without Collector Cards - for example, special edition ornaments and ornaments with clear box fronts such as the Club Barbies were not issued with Collector Cards. Another exception to the above info....some of the 1995-2002 Sports ornaments included collector cards that are similar to "baseball cards" in that they featured information about the sports player.
