50th Wedding Ornament for 2008

My parents celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2008 and I've been kicking myself all year this year for not buying them a "50 Years Together" Hallmark ornament in 2008. I've been looking everywhere for one with no luck finding one dated in 2008. So, I thought I might try my luck here and see if anyone here has any suggestions (I check e-bay regularly and I check this site regularly). Any other ideas where I may be able to find a 2008 ornament celebrating a 50th Wedding Anniversary? THANKS!! Robyn ([e-mail])

Welcome to the forum.
Congratulations to your parents for 50 years together.
Hallmark offered 50th Anniversary ornaments in the 80's and 90's without much success. They have also offered Anniversary ornaments that included various year "charms" that could be added to designate the special anniversary being celebrated. However in recent years they've not offered either.
Ironically there seem to be more and more couples celebrating 50 years these days...wish they would "try it again"...as it might be more successful these days.

Perhaps a 2008 Hallmark ornament with an engraved tag would work.
My choice would be the 2008 Shining Memories Snowflake ,a personalized engraved tag would really make it personal and so beautiful.
