I was asked by HUNDREDS of collectors at the "Memories for the Making Event" WHEN the next Hallmark Keepsake Value Guide would be published. As editor of the 2005 & 2006 editions, I feel honored that so many of you enjoy the guide and are anxious to purchase an updated version.
Just to be certain that my answer is/was understood by all:
THE GOOD NEWS IS:
I have had casual conversations with members of the Hallmark Keepsake Staff. They have indicated an interest in exploring ways to make an updated version of the guide available and have indicated a desire to sit down and discuss the possibilities soon.
THE REALITY IS
Even if a plan and agreement is reached soon (& I don't know that it will). It will take many months to prepare the update, edit it,obtain Hallmark Leagle Dept approval, publish it, have it printed and distributed.
As much as I'd like to think that 2010 is possible, 2011 is more realistic...and again, there are no promises at this point.
I do promise to keep you posted.
