Here is a picture of both 1996 (sorry about date just noticed, IT IS NOT '86) collectors anniversary edition rocking horses. The white rocking horse is the one I am calling a sculptors mould proof. The finished rocking horse is the limited addition AP of 2000. If there is a way to attach more than one picture to this post, I do not know how. If anyone does want to see more pictures just leave me a message. I will do my best to get up on this blog ASAP. There is one additional piece of information to relay. The limited edition AP of 2000 is signed by a person named Jay Yalle. I believe I spelled their name correctly. Any knowledge you are willing to share with me on either, the one of a kind sculptors mould proof signed by what I believe to be the creators of the rocking horse or the rare signed limited edition AP of 2000 rocking horse, is very much appreciated. Once again thank you for your interest in my postings. Attachments:

Hi Josh, Welcome to the Forum.
Two of the large table top rocking horses were offered. The first issued in 1996 was a large version of the 1981 Rocking Horse Ornament. It was limited to 1000, numbered and artist signed by Linda Sickman and Jay. The edition number was engraved on a brass plaque on the rocker.
The second, issued in 1997 is a large version of the 1982 Rocking Horse and is the black horse pictured. It was limited to 2000, numbered and artist signed by both Linda Sickman and Jay. Again the edition # was engraved on a brass plaque on the rocker, and the brass plate is dated 1996 even though it wasn't sold until 1997.
The white horse in your photo does look like a prototype. White prototypes are made for the painting process of production.
As for the signatures...have no idea, whom they are or why they signed it...that's a mystery!
Let us know how you came by this prototype if you feel comfortable sharing that info...we would all be interested in that!
Hope this little bit of info helps! Cheers, Nicki
