Aug Event Registration

GREAT NEWS!

I was able to confirm today that registration for the Aug 7-8, 2009
Hallmark Collectors Club is open and will remain open for the next few weeks.

A goal of the KOC Staff was to leave the registration open to all Ornament Club Members who wished to attend, and they have certainly met that goal.

Thus, IT'S NOT TOO LATE.
If you are a member of the Club, go to the members area on Hallmark.com and follow the links to registration.

As stated on the site, "walk-in registrations" will not be accepted, so make your plans to join us now...and get registered!

It's probably way too early to ask this....

Next year is Hallmark's 100 year anniversary and I'd like to attend the August event for the first time. Does anyone know where it is? When? Will they ever do local conventions? There was one in Michigan about 8 years ago and I still kick myself for not attending.

On another note, I'd still love to see a new collector's guide or at least a supplement. I know the ornaments are selling for way below book value these days so maybe we should wait until the economy kicks back up.

Hi Diane,
This is probably a good news/bad news response for you. First, the bad news, Hallmark will NOT be doing an "August event" next year. They only do big events every other year, at best.

Now, the possible good news. What Hallmark is doing next year is having artist signings at a total of 16 cities I believe, thru out the US, based on 10 stores that sponsor local clubs winning a local club contest and 6 being chosen by Hallmark outside of the contest.

Are you in a local club? If not, check the Hallmark website for a listing of local clubs. There may be one in your area that will receive an artist signing.
