I have a 1981 ghost on pumpkin. the front of ghost is yellowed. How much would that hurt the value of item?

Welcome to the forum.
The yellowing of the 81 Ghost is common and there is no way to remove it, it is embedded in the art-plas material.
Afraid I have some bad news about the value...
Any yellowing of a collectible really effects the value. It is pretty hard to find a buyer for a yellowed item at any price. I would guess it's at least a devalue of 80-90% since it effects the entire piece. Nicki
