I have an ivory porcelain with gold edging 1992 Anniversary Collection 40 years together ornament. The number on the box is AGA7316. I can not find this listed anywhere on the internet.
In 1992 and 1993 Hallmark produced these hand painted ornaments to commemorate a number of anniversary milestones. All but the "25 Years Together" are trimmed in 14-karat gold. Each is dated and measures 3 1/4" H.
Each ornament also carries a special caption on the reverse side of the ornament.
For the "early" anniversary's the text is all in script.
(See example below) The ornaments offered in this style were
Our First, Our Fifth, and Our Tenth.
For the 25th, 40th and 50th anniversaries the wording was changed to "25 Years Together" (see example below)
The ornaments offered in this style were again; 25, 40 and 50 Years Together.
For the Milestones of 25 and 50 Years Together there were also two Anniversary Bells offered.
