2004 Frosty Friends Ornament Sign Post

We own what we now know to be a 2004 Frosty Friends Ornament. It was given to us before Christmas, and we were looking at it upon receipt to determine the year of issue. Finally we noted that the SIGN POST next to the SLIDE had the year 2004 imprinted on the inside toward the slide, where it is nearly impossible to read. Should the date have been facing outward as we suspect, and did we get a mis-built ornament?

Your ornament is correctly printed. The year is printed on the side of the sign that faces the slide.
I agree, it is easy to miss, but guess it is designed for the characters to be able to read! Happy Collecting, Nicki
