Any news on the 2008 Halllmark Value Guide?

Any updates on the 2008 book you mentioned working on, in this post from Yulelog?

Loc: Lenexa, KS The 3rd/next edition of the Hallmark Value Guide which I edit & Bang Zoom publishes will be available July 2008. There will be no 2007 edition.

Plans are underway for the 2008 update and include some new Hallmark categories such as Stocking Hangers, Tender Touches and Mary Hamilton Nativity. I'm sure we'll be asking for YuleLogger assistance as these cateorgies have not been included in any recent publications. It will be fun to see all the treasures that these categories hold.

Hi Karen,

Bang Zoom indicated to me several months ago that they would be ready within a week to begin working on the 2009 Hallmark Value Guide. However, I have information ready, and they've since communicated that they are not ready to begin.

The Bang Zoom employees I've worked with on past Editions are no longer with the company...it's down to a skeleton crew.

I'm still hoping for a 2009 Guide and willing to give it my best effort, but am having doubts.

I don't throw in the towel easily on things I consider important...so I am working on a Plan B. I'll keep you posted!

PS...If you or anyone you know would like to tackle this project with a new publisher, I'd love to hear from you. It's not important to me to be the editor or even be involved...my only goal is to have an up-to-date, high quality book available that will enhance Hallmark Ornament Collecting.
