1995 Jukebox Party ?? This ornament and its box are clearly dated 1995, which makes it A VERY RARE LOW PRODUCTION ornament. (The regular issue ornament is dated and was issued in 1996.) Only a very small number of the dated 1995 ornaments were produced before the 1995 production was abandoned. In 1996 when issues were resolved, the ornament was redated and produced in mass. Jukebox plays "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee

When I saw the title of the topic I thought to myself, "1995?" Glad I checked in on this one. LOL! That ornament is definitely one to watch for.

I forgot all about that. I didn't know they had made any that year, except for the cannot buy this tease in the dream book. Do you know why they stopped making them in 1995?

Hi oldshallmark, Welcome to the forum! The 1995 Jukebox Party was pulled from the line AFTER the Dream Book was laid out and at the printer because there were licensing issues with the music that the Jukebox plays ("Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, by Brenda Lee") that Hallmark was not able to resolve in 1995. So production was abandoned after just a few prototypes were produced, including the one used for the catalog photo. In the 1995 Dream book the caption "Not Available" was added at the last minute. Those licensing issues were resolved in 1996, so this popular ornament and it's box were re dated and produced in the 1996 line! In all my years of Hallmarking, I've only seen the 1995 ornament once. Only a handful of prototypes were produced, making the dated 1995 version VERY RARE. We do have one available on our site at hookedonornaments.com Nicki
