I'm actually going to post this info here and in the FAQS as we get this question a lot. "I have a 1993 Mary's Angels ornament - but my ornament isn't Ivy - my ornament is Joy. What can you tell me about it? Love your website! And thanks for your help!"There was actually only one "variety" of the Mary's Angels ornament produced in 1993 - that ornament was Ivy. The font used on the box for the ornament name is very often mistaken for Joy - but there's only the one - and she is officially Ivy. Here's a picture of the box, you can see how easy it is to read it either way.

She is always Ivy to me...except when I look at the box and have to think twice!

One easy way to remember ...is that nearly all the Mary's Angels have "flower/plant" based names. Buttercup, Bluebell, Rosebud, Violet...ect. So, Ivy fits in much better than "Joy", however the font used on her box has certainly confused many!
