I got to see the retailer dream book at my Hallmark store the other day (no Dream Book at home yet!!).
They have a set of white ornaments that require a special electrical connection, somewhat similar to how Illuminations worked a few years ago.
I had two questions that my retailer could not answer, I wonder if one of you know the answers?
1. How many ornaments does one electrical box-cord run? 2. Does Hallmark have any specials planned through the year where they will discount the electrical box-cord? (I remember with promotions I never had to pay for one Illuminations power box.)

Hi JB, The 2010 WONDER & LIGHT ornaments have unique lighting effects such as alternating fading, shimmering, flickering or twinkling. Up to 3 cords can be connected for a synchronized light show.
The unique Magic Cord is required and sold separately ($14.95) for everything except the Glowing Snowflake Starter Set, which includes the cord.
One Magic Cord can support up to 9 ornaments (or 8 ornaments & the tree topper)
Don't know of any promos for the Magic Cord alone, but there will be a promotion for the Glowing Snowflake Starter Set which (as stated above) includes the cord.
We can all look forward to this beautiful new collection available in Gold Crown Stores in October!

Just learned... The 2010 Wonder and Light ornaments will be a TWO year offering. If you LOVE "em buy them early...as they will not go on sale after Christmas!
In fact, that is my advice for the entire 2010 Keepsake Line. The "everything is available on sale after Christmas" days are history. These days, the Gold Crown stores sell out of many BEFORE DEC. Shop early!
