Wow a forum after my own heart! i have so many ideas i would love to work for the hallmark ornament department maybe they will let me if they read this ha!
For starters I love Peanuts and I was disapointed when the peanuts gang line ended, i was around 13 when it started and i collected every one, along with every peanuts ornaments since 1991! there are so many characters we havent had ornaments for, im tired of the same ideas every year, i dont wish for the spotlight on snoopy line to end, i just dont see how its lasted all these years but teh gang lasted only 4!!! i really really hope they make a vintage peanuts line, im loving the vintage theme for the 60th, this years ornament was sooo cool! but i want more! i hope there are a bunch of vintage type ornaments this year. as for more recent ones id like one of linus in his cardboard sled box, a franklin and charlie brown leaning on the brick wall ornament, spike! maybe one with snoopy and his brothers, i love the idea of snoopy decorating charlie brown like this years lenox one that was hard to find.
off the peanuts subject, i love the different character theme, but id also like to see a christmas themed one, maybe they can make a few ornaments instead of one.
The same goes with the simpsons, theres only one,when american greetings had the line they made at least 3 a year!
now onto something the collectors may hate, why cant they make a line of yesteryear ornaments, like take teh frosty friends line for instance, i have always liked it, but i never bought any until this year and they were a few i found on ebay, i couldnt even get the 2009 one in the store, i think they should make a reissue line, where the past ornaments maybe fan favorites are resold, newly made, giving us fans who were too young or not even born when they came out originally.
I would also like to see a sunday funnies line representing comic strips like dennis the menace, the family circus, hagar etc.
i have a ton of more ideas, i just feel like i went overboard hope no ones mad hope someone listens!

Here is my idea: Hallmark has had a reindeer ornament composed of tools (2009: Tool Yule), and one made up of kitchen items (2004: Cookie Doe), one of Crayola crayons (2005: Happy Hues), how about one made of garden objects (hoes, spades, shovels, hoses, trowels, rakes, shears, push mower,etc)?

I would love for them to make a "Drowsy" baby doll by Mattel. I can think of several ladies I would buy it for. I think the doll series is a great idea. Remember Betsy McCall?

Hey Hallmark getting a little burned out on the "Christmas Window" ornaments for Club Members. Haven't you heard? Variety is the spice of life.
Also "Frosty Fun Decade" is cute but seriously another snowman series?

I've been relooking at some of our D23 photos and memorabilia and was reminded of a Disney item that I'd dearly love as an ornament: The Nautilus from 20,000 Leagues under the sea. There was a large crowd gathered to see the model they had on display and everybody oohed and ahhed about it. It would look fantastic as an ornament. And it would have great cross-over appeal to different groups - Sci Fi lovers, Disney fans, transportation ornament collectors, and the new steampunk aficionados to name a few. I'm a huge Star Wars fan... I would like to see a Darth Maul ornament that lights up! Press a button, and both ends of Maul's lightsaber glow red and while bits of the 'Dual of Fate' music plays.

Just want to share with my idea that why don't they make Crescent Moon with Elf ~ Little elf sprite is sitting on the Crecent Moon & waiting for just the right time to help Santa drop off all those goodies for every good girls & boys.

Hey I have an idea for an orament. The classic TV they do every year how about they do The Price is Right. The TV they could say Come on Down! Then play the theme song.
